Alex Garden is the co-Founder and co-CEO of California based Zume Pizza, Inc. (www.zumepizza.com).
Until April of 2015, Alex served as the President of Zynga (NASDAQ:ZNGA). Prior to Zynga, Alex was a General Manager at Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) where he led several businesses including Xbox LIVE, Xbox Music, Xbox Video and the Entertainment Advertising business.
For six years, Alex served on the advisory board of Tokyo based Nexon (TYO:3659), one of the world’s leading online Video Game companies. Following his advisory term, Alex served as Nexon’s co-CEO from 2006 to 2008 where he helped launch their North American development program.
Prior to his term at Nexon, he founded Vancouver based game developer Relic Entertainment and served as its Chief Executive Officer for seven years leading up to Relic’s acquisition by THQ, Inc. (NASDAQ:THQ) in 2004.
In addition to these roles: Alex founded iVALET Systems Inc., a Vancouver BC based parking Management Company. Alex founded Conceptual Interface Devices, a Vancouver BC based Industrial Robotics Control Company. Sold in 1990 to Intersoft Development Corporation.
He previously served as a Director of OneMove Technologies Inc. (TSXV:OM) and currently serves as an advisor with numerous companies ranging from Seed, through Mature Growth stages of their development.
Outside of his other duties, Alex is a prolific inventor with patents ranging from Aerospace Optics, three-space control devices and disruptive innovations in the delivery food industry. Mr. Garden lives in Tiburon, California with his wife, son and dog and enjoys building race cars, motorcycles and robots in their home machine shop.
