Sahir Raoof

Sahir is the Founder and Managing Partner of Proximal Ventures, an early stage venture fund investing at the intersection of AI and the life sciences. He previously led biotech and pharmatech investments at SignalFire. For a decade prior to investing, Sahir was an operator at various life sciences startups. He was the first commercial hire and VP of Business Development at Iterative Health, a company using AI to accelerate the shift towards precision medicine in immunology. Before Iterative Health, Sahir worked at Flatiron Health (acquired by Roche), building research partnerships with biopharma to speed up drug development using real-world evidence. He began his career at J.P. Morgan, covering biotech and outsourced pharma services.

Sahir graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MPP from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and a BA from Columbia University.
