Tom is an Executive, Investor and Advisor for several innovative healthcare
technology businesses across the payor and provider segments. Tom is
currently the CEO of Blackbird Health, an integrated, precision pediatric
mental health business. Tom is a co-Founder and former COO of Evolent
Health (Nasdaq: EVH), where he built, grew and ran Evolent’s Value-based
Care and Health Plan Services businesses. Over his tenure EVH became a
public company with $1B in revenue and over 3,000 employees across 40
markets—serving payors, health systems and physician groups. Prior to this,
Tom ran the Technology and Consulting Divisions of the Advisory Board
Company and worked in both health plans and health systems. Tom has a
Masters in Mental Health Counseling from The George Washington University
and a B.A. from Harvard University.
